Well I hadn't planned on leaving such a big gap between posts, but I seem to have blinked and lost several weeks (this seems to happen a lot!)
But during this time lots of exciting things have happened. I got 2 pieces - 'Custard Creams' and 'Party Rings' accepted into and exhibited at the Warrington Open Exhibition. I had a great night at the launch of this exhibition and the Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival it was part of and it was inspiring to see such a wide variety of art work. It was also great that family and friends made the effort to come and see my work too :)
I also got news that an exhibition proposal I made with 2 incredibly talented artists (and also 2 of my favourite people) has been accepted by the Castle Park Arts Centre. This means we will be having an exhibition there next Summer which I am so excited about. It also means that there will be plenty of new work coming this way so watch this space!
And yesterday I submitted 2 pieces - 'The Cabbage' and the very recently finished 'Don't Rip It!' - to the Castle Park Arts Open Exhibition which launches on Friday evening - so I have everything crossed and will let you know if they're accepted...
There's so much exciting stuff going on and I can't wait to get going on some new pieces :)
